SIMM held 2014 "Flying Cup" Badminton Match

As one of programs of SIMM Autumn Athletic Games in 2014, “Flying Cup” badminton match was held on November 16th in the badminton hall of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so as to create atmosphere of culture and sports as “Unity, Harmony and Health”.  The match was hosted by the labor union, organized by the Badminton Association of SIMM, and coordinated by each civilization groups. Twelve teams with 113 players from each groups joined the match, including five items of men singles, men doubles, women singles, women doubles and mixed pair, in the form of group match.

With the principle of “Friendship first, badminton technology exchange, health promotion, and physical and mental pleasure”, all the players shows their elegant demeanour. After a day of fierce competition, Pharmacology Department I & II united team won the championship, Medicinal Chemistry team won the Second, while the comprehensive scientific research and safety evaluation united team and natural products chemistry team won the Third.   

After the match, the newly established badminton association will organize badminton exercise regularly every Sunday to help people of SIMM to do more physical exercise and promote communication.
