On March 19th, 2015, the first professional association of Toxicology Pathology in China was established in Beijing, which was sponsored by Professor REN Jin, director of CDSER, SIMM. Academician Sang Guowei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the 11th NPC and chairman of China Pharmaceutical Association (CPA)，attended the inaugural meeting and delivered a speech. Thirty-two committee members of the first session committee of ATP attended the meeting.
The goal of the association is to provide training, qualification and communication platform for Chinese toxicology pathologists, and finally become comparable with other national professional societies of this specialized field. The established association will definitively bring profound significance and far-reaching influence for the development of toxicology pathology in China.
