On March 18th, Professor Maria Carmo-Fonseca, Director of Instituto de Medicina Molecular (IMM), and Professor Luís Ferreira Moita, Head of the Cell Biology of the Immune System Unit, IMM visited SIMM.

Professor Luís Ferreira Moita gave a lecture titled as Anthracyclines induce DNA damage response-mediated protection against severe sepsis.

IMM and SIMM have already established a collaborative project. In order to further strengthen the communication and collaboration, both parties have decided to jointly organize a bilateral meeting on drug discovery in 2015. And more research fields for future cooperation are going to be explored.
