On March 18, Dr. Adam Podmore, Commercialization Manager of Auckland Uniservices Ltd paid a visit to SIMM.

Auckland UniServices Limited is very successful at contracting research and transferring intellectual property from the University of Auckland to the public and private sectors, and is an exemplar of how research organizations and businesses partner together to achieve mutual benefit.

SIMM and University of Auckland have jointly organized the Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings in Shanghai in the past two years.

Both parties had deep discussions on potential future collaboration and models. SIMM would take the opportunity to learn from the experience in Clinical Research Center of the University of Auckland, especially in the phase I clinical trials.

Both parties would foster the cooperation in the fields of oncology, central nervous system, chemical proteomics, diabetes, structural biology and etc.
