ProfessorTeh Bin Tean , Director & Principal Investigator, Laboratory of Cancer Epigenome, National Cancer Centre of Singapore, visited Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica on Mar. 13, 2015. He delivered an academic lecture entitled “Asian Cancer Genomics and Its Clinical Implications”.  

The lecture mainly introduced cancer genomics and its clinical implications, etc. He especially analyzed genomics studies on cancer-related genes. The research results are of great importance, which have laid a solid theoretical foundation for cancer research and anti-cancer drug development. 

The lecture intrigued a hot discussion between Professor Tean and the audience.  

Professor Tean has been working for years on the transformation of cancer research. He is one of the top scientists in this field. Professor Tean is a productive author with over 300 scientific papers being published in Nature, Science and Nature Genetic, etc.
