Compound Library Expected to Boost Drug Research & Development

The Chinese National Coumpound Library (CNCL) of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) under Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) locates at the Pharma Valley of China – Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Park. It is a major drug research and development facility managed by SIMM and Shanghai Zhangjiang Biopharmaceutical Base Development, Co., Ltd. It is the biggest compound library in Asia with storing over two million compounds possessing diversified structures by far. It serves as advanced sample handling, information management and quality control systems for both domestic and international stakeholders to promote sustained drug discovery and development of Chinese pharmaceutical industry.
