Research Center for Modernization of TCM was established in January, 2005. The Center focuses on studies of TCM by application of modern technologies in biological sciences, especially in human genome sequencing, proteomics and systems biology. The Center endeavors to explore the mechanisms of TCM action and its effective ingredients, to establish modern standards of quality control and to promote the drug discovery from TCM. The Center is dedicated to advocate modernization, standardization and internationalization of TCM.
