The Center for Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Research specializes in performing drug metabolism studies on lead compounds and drug candidates at both preclinical and clinical stages, as well as bioequivalence studies of drug formulations.

With the command of several key technologies, the Center serves as a pharmacokinetics platform in accordance with the international norm. Studies conducted involve radio-labeled drug metabolism, drug metabolizing enzymes, drug transporters, genetic polymorphisms of drug metabolism, as well as DMPK in animals and in humans (in collaboration with hospitals). The Center is recognized as one of the key research units in China for ADME studies.
