The Center for Pharmaceutics Research specializes in the research on drug formulation and novel drug delivery systems, including drug delivery system based on nanotechnology, the sustained/controlled release formulation, ophthalmic preparation, mathematical model of pharmacokinetics for sustained/controlled release formulation, evaluation on TCM multiple drug delivery systems, macromolecular drug and transdermal delivery systems. Early stage formulation research and optimization during the discovery phase help improve druggability of drug candidates.
