The Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica is a senior member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a mission to provide comprehensive solutions to drug discovery and development. As part of an exciting new alliance with AstraZeneca, a major international pharmaceutical company, we would like to invite you to join our open, friendly and supportive team based in a new purpose built facility located in Shanghai.

　　You will be working in a GLP environment and will receive professional training in AstraZeneca’s own research and development facilities in Europe.  

　　You will establish and maintain a quality assured environment which is effective, efficient and is compliant with OECD GLP Principles and SFDA GLP Regulations. You will lead a Quality Assurance Group and report directly to senior management. In addition, you will assess the compliance of facilities, processes and studies and give GLP training and advice to functional staff. You will also manage regulatory authority inspections.

　　 With a PhD or equivalent in a relevant science you will have significant experience in quality assurance and leadership within an organisation operating in compliance with GLP. You will also have excellent analytical, organizational, communication, computer and validation skills. You should be able to speak English to a high standard and have a knowledge of Chinese.
