The Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica is a senior member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a mission to provide comprehensive solutions to drug discovery and development. As part of an exciting new alliance with AstraZeneca, a major international pharmaceutical company, we would like to invite you to join our open, friendly and supportive team based in a new purpose built facility located in Shanghai.

　　You will be working in a GLP environment and will receive professional training in AstraZeneca’s research and development facilities in Europe.  

　　Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance you will perform independent audits and reviews to assess the compliance of facilities, processes and studies with OECD Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Principles and SFDA GLP Regulation. You will also give GLP training and advice to other members of staff.  

　　 You should have an MSc or equivalent in a relevant science and have significant experience in quality assurance with an organisation operating in compliance with GLP. You will also have excellent analytical, organizational, communication, computer and validation skills. You should be able to speak English to a high standard, and have a knowledge of Chinese.
