2018 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings in Shanghai？ Drug Discovery and Societal Impact & The 10th National Forum on New Technologies in Drug Discovery & The 7th Meeting of Chinese Network for Drugs and Diagnostics Innovation

After the successful launching of the 1st Queenstown Molecular Biology (Shanghai) Meetings in March 2013, we repeated that experience from 2014 to 2017 which received tremendous responses among both domestic and overseas scientific communities. As a result, the Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings Society of New Zealand, the National Center for Drug Screening and China Financial Information Center will hold 2018 Queenstown Molecular Biology (Shanghai) Meetings between March 22 and 23, 2018. The event will focus on the theme of “Drug Discovery and Societal Impact” and be concurrent with the 10th National Forum on New Technologies in Drug Discovery and the 7th Meeting of Chinese Network for Drugs and Diagnostics Innovation (http://www.asiandi.org:8099/).
Queenstown Molecular Biology (QMB) Meetings were initiated in New Zealand in 1991 as an annual gathering of bioscientists in New Zealand and Australia, which has become a well-known international science forum over the years and is held during the last week of August each year. We started a spring version of this conference in Shanghai as part of Sino-New Zealand collaborations in science and technology. The sponsors include the National Health and Family Planning Commission, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS, Fudan University, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration, Maurice Wilkins Center of New Zealand, Novo Nordisk A/S of Denmark, the National Institute of Parasitic Diseases (IPD), Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC), the Chinese National Compound Library, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR/WHO), Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Shanghai Pudong Association for Science and Technology, Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, Asian Chemical Biology Initiative, Chinese Network for Drugs and Diagnostics Innovation and Shanghai Research and Development Public Service Platform, etc.
Meeting Venue: China Financial Information Center (Address: 18 Dongyuan Road, Lujiazui, Shanghai 200120, China), it is located closely to Grand Kempinski Hotel (map attached).

The registration deadline is February 28, 2018. A registration fee of RMB 2500 Yuan should be paid upon formal notification.
