Dr. Aizhuo Liu, Research Assistant Professor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Michigan State University, visited SIMM and delivered an academic lecture titled “Molecular basis of immune evasion by pathogenic bacteria”.

The lecture mainly introduced the molecular mechanism of immune evasion by pathogenic bacteria studied by NMR and X-ray diffraction and the drug screening based on the structure and the mechanism.

The lecture intrigued a hot discussion between Professor Aizhuo Liu and the attendees.
