Information Center
The Information Center of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was established in 2011 and developed from the library founded in 1947. It consists of the Information Resources and Service Department and the Information Research Department. The Information Center has gathered a number of highly educated teams with professional knowledge of pharmacy and information science, more than 75% of them have master's degree or doctor's degree.
The Information Center focuses on the development strategy of national new drug development, embeds in the front line of scientific research work and scientific research management around the development plan of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, creates the literature and information product system, such as Information Resource and Service Platform, Chuang Yao, Bulletin of the global Pharmaceutical Innovation" and Drug Research and Development Report of Diseases to support new drug research and development.
