Institutional Center for Shared Technologies and Facilities of SIMM, CAS aims to sharing and integration of large-scale scientific instrument and equipment, ensuring their well functioning and high efficiency, building a professional team to give better support to research work through improving the management of scientific instrument and equipment, as well as the share laboratory.

At present, the center has more than 90 instruments worth over 200 million RMB, which can provide services including NMR and MS data recording and structural elucidation of organic small molecules and biomacromolecule, solid chemistry related study, drug quality control, biomacromolecule analysis, etc.

We also provide services associated with the confocal laser scanning microscope, the small animal in vivo imaging instrument over PET/CT system, fluorescence, or NMR; with sample screening and data collection about the biomacromolecule, lipidosome, and tissue section.

In particular, the imaging study of the whole organ in subcellular resolution on tektology, pathology, drug distribution, and pharmacodynamic evaluation can also be conducted in the center.
