SIMM Bioinformatics Platform

As part of the institute’s strategic planning to discover new drugs, the SIMM Bioinformatics Platform focuses on three areas of research:
1) Discovery of drug targets and biomarkers through integrative analyses of large-scale multi-omics data;
2) Development of pharma-bioinformatics database;
3) Development of drug-target and biomarker discovery computational models and algorithms.
Over the past several years, we have established the PMDB (Personalized Medicine Bioinformatics Database), https://bioinfo.simm.ac.cn, which contains omics-data from thousands of patient-derived samples. We have also developed cancer driver mutation and biomarker discovery algorithms, Accurity and Accucopy. We are a team of talented computational scientists with expertise in statistical models and AI algorithms and experience in analyzing large-scale pharma-related bioinformatics data.
