Biography
Dr. Nan received his Ph. D. degree in organic chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in 1997 and followed by 3 years post-doctoral working in Georgetown University Medical Center. In June 2000, he joined Chinese National Center for Drug Screening, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica as a principal investigator. His major research interests are discovery of therapeutic agents inspired by small-molecule natural products. Dr. Nan's group has delivered 3 drug candidates in phase I clinical trial in china, and several leads (candidates) in pre-clinical studies.
