The International Workstation for Neuropharmacology focuses on pharmacology of various neuronal channelopathies and development of small molecule modulators for ion channels. Ion channels are traditionally difficult targets to investigate. The workstation has established a series of technology platforms for drug innovation, consisting of high-throughput screening targeting ion channels, electrophysiology, and hERG safety evaluation. The workstation is also interested in developing novel technologies to promote drug discovery targeting neuronal diseases.
