Biography
Dr. Zhen Cheng is Professor and the Director of the Molecular Imaging Center, State Key Laboratory of Drug Research, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is the Fellow of RSC and SPIE. He was also a faculty member of the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford University from 2007 to 2021. His research has focused on the development of molecular imaging techniques and radiopharmaceuticals for the early detection and therapy of cancer. Dr. Cheng’s group has developed numerous multimodal imaging probes (PET, SPECT, optical, photoacoustic, and MRI), and published more than 300 articles. He is the Associate Editor of Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology, and Medicine and on the editorial board of Clinical Cancer Research, EJNMMI, Bioconjugate Chemistry, Amino Acids and so on.
